You can enjoy an entire 5 course gluten-free meal here at Vero Amore without feeling like your simple request has challenged our staff or manipulated your dish’s entire recipe. In fact, our staff has been extensively trained so that you can be confident that what we prepare is truly gluten-free, without any fear of cross contamination.

We know that it is always much easier and more comfortable for our patrons with special food needs if they can see their options before they even come in our doors, so we’ve dreamt up some delicious gluten-free ideas for five delectable courses.

1. Appetizer
Any of our appetizers usually served with “toast points” or “crostini” can simply be served without them - meaning all appetizers except for the Meatballs and Wood-Fired bread are still open to you. Two appetizers that are naturally gluten-free are:

2. Entrée/Salad
Thanks to our gluten-free salad dressings, your options here are many. Our Caesar Salad would also be an option if you simply requested it without croutons.

Casa Insalate
House salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, onions and either homemade tomato balsamic vinaigrette or wasabi ranch dressing

Prosciutto Caprese
Homemade mozzarella, prosciutto, and tomato on a bed of mixed greens with a basil olive oil dressing

3. Main Course
We offer a gluten-free pasta and gluten-free pizza dough, so a simple request to your server to “make it gluten-free” leaves your options here wide open. Here we’d like to encourage some of our dishes served with polenta, since polenta is a delicious corn porridge that is naturally gluten-free.

Bistro Steak
Grilled herb marinated steak served with creamy polenta, braised mushrooms and garlic cloves finished with a rich Chianti butter sauce

Pork Oso Bucco
Pork shanks served over creamy Romano polenta finished with a hearty white wine tomato sauce

Chicken Cacciatore
